INDIA-I-REE
Why?
Well, during the day, I'm the Supervising Director/Director on a forthcoming 3D Animated series entitled, "DA JAMMIES." Can I also be on record to say that it's the first 3D animated hip hop series that will see light(side-eye)?
It's being produced by FARCOR STUDIOS which is a partnership between television producer/writer extraordinaire, Ralph Farquhar (The Proud Family, Moesha, The Parkers, Married With Children) and Dwayne Corbitt (Business Mogul). It was created by the ever talented DOLLA and NOVELIST and it'll be coming to a television near you real soon.
WE might wanna finish it first, so...First things first. We're in the midst of the production and its customary for Directors and Producers to visit overseas studios, monitor progress, engage the crew (especially the animators) on my vision for the show and just get our GRIZZLY on. Trust me...face to face says a whole lot more than storyboards, animatics, and Excel documents.
And, of course I can't work all day (even though at home it feels like I do) but, I'll be bringing along a sketchbook and watercolors dedicated solely for the trip. Might even take a snapshot or two with the handheld.
:)
Anywho, if I can blog while I'm there...why not? ... but, if I can't... see you all when I get back in a few weeks.
I leave you with a rejected piece of development for yet another project I'm working on the side on.
EDIT: PIECE REMOVED. Told ya so!

Wow you and Richard Hudson are both in India! Best of luck.
By the way how do you make cool watermarks like that?
thanks for the love, ya'll.
India is definitely a different world...but, in some cases we're all the same. more on that some other time.
getting a few shots in Hans...unfortunately, not as much drawing, Daisy. working really hard over here to make this show sing!
stephen: In Photoshop, just make another layer on top of your artwork. type your name, write it, whatever in full black then lower the opacity. The copyright symbol is in the symbols sub-menu. The hot-key is U. you'll see a starfish up top. click that and goto all symbols. scroll and find the copyright symbol. add it on a seperate layer as well and again, lower the opacity. Save as a jpeg and you're done.
good to see you representicatin' Tyree... i look forward to seeing the ends of this effort. lenme know if you need a hand.
Thanks Tyree.
